What are Mallu Snacks Kerala banana chips made of?
Just four ingredients: raw Nendran bananas from Palakkad, pure oil, sea salt and turmeric. There are no preservatives, no MSG and no artificial colours; the golden colour comes from turmeric.
How are the banana chips made?
We slice raw Nendran bananas to 1.2 mm and fry them in small batches on wood-fired clay stoves in our Thrissur kitchen, a family business since 2018. Frying starts at 6 AM every day and chips are packed in nitrogen-flushed, double-sealed 3-ply pouches.
How long do the banana chips stay fresh?
Sealed packs are best consumed within 30 days of packaging. Once opened, eat them within 7 days and store them in an airtight container to keep the crunch.
